Privileges

A good score is its own reward. It is also rewarded. Here is what each tier is entitled to, so that every citizen knows what they have, and what they nearly had.
By tier

What your score gets you

900 to 1,000

Exemplary

May join any instance, including instances that are full. May see other citizens' scores. May stand within two metres of a Councillor, briefly, if invited.

750 to 899

Trusted

Priority at mirrors. Name shown in gold. May give headpats without waiting to be asked, up to the daily cap.

600 to 749

Satisfactory

Full ordinary citizenship. May attend events, sit on furniture and speak at normal volume. The tier the Council recommends for most people.

400 to 599

Under review

May attend events, at the back. Headpats must be requested in advance. Name shown in grey, slightly smaller.

200 to 399

Probationary

Displayed to other citizens as the default avatar. May speak, but is automatically placed at the far end of every room, facing the wall, for reflection.

Below 200

Furniture

Reclassified as an item of furniture in the world in which the score fell below 200. May be sat on. Furniture citizens retain the right to appeal, if they can find a way to raise their hand.

Height Ordinance

On the height of avatars

Section 1. No avatar shall be taller than the doorway through which it intends to pass.

Section 2. No avatar shall be so small that it cannot be seen without crouching. A citizen who must be looked for is a citizen who is hiding.

Section 3. A citizen may change height once per instance. A citizen who grows during an argument shall be taken to have conceded it.

Section 4. This Ordinance does not apply to the Minister for Height.

Exemplary citizens

The view from the top

Fewer than one citizen in a thousand reaches Exemplary. Those who do are not announced, since announcing them would affect their scores. You may be standing next to one now. You should probably stand up straight.
